Relationships That Convert

Objective: Build relationships on Facebook with people who will benefit from your offer by genuinely engaging with members of your post.

Tools:

  • The copy of this google sheet that you created in step 1 of "Cash Cow Content Creation"
  • Facebook profile optimized for Attraction Marketing, Launch Gorgeous members have access to a course that will walk you through this. Note it is against Facebook terms of service to use your personal profile just for business.  Err on the side of caution.

Step 1: Create Newsfeed List

  • Within Facebook, revisit your cash cow content posts in Facebook.
  • For each post: Click on the link under your post that shows you a list of everyone that reacted to your post. Hover over the first name until the profile popup appears.
  • Click on the friends dropdown.
  • Click "Add to another list" Name the list after your offer.
  • Repeat this process for each name until they're all added to the list you just created.

Step 2: Engage

  • Go to Facebook.com
  • From your News Feed, go to the Explore section in the left menu and click Friend Lists. If you don't see it, click See More...
  • Click the name of the friend list you just created in step 1.
  • Genuinely engage with posts from as many of these friends as you can. Shares and Comments are best. Comment on their posts in groups you both belong to. You could also consider tagging them in your posts if you're posting something you know they'd appreciate or if it pertains to something they recently posted.
  • Repeat this on a daily basis.

Step 3: Turn Them Into Leads

  • Create a short post on your wall asking who is interested in getting/learning/doing X. End it with "Let me know if you want my Y". Y being a lead magnet that provides actionable steps and an instant win.
  • After a few days, if there was enough interest, create the lead magnet and a landing page to capture their email address. Be sure to hook this up with your CRM. Otherwise repeat steps 1-3 a few days later with another idea.
  • After creating the lead magnet, send a link to it via messenger to each person that commented.
  • Reply to each comment on the post letting them know you messaged them. The reason for this is not to actually let them know you messaged it, but to bump your post in your friends' newsfeed. EXAMPLES TODO

Step 4: Email Your Leads

  • At least once a week, email your list answers to their most pressing questions (as identified in Cash Cow Content Creation course).
  • Let your personality come through. Write to them as if you were writing to one friend. Be authentic. EXAMPLES TODO
  • After offering value in 3-5 posts, you can share your offer via email and on your profile and groups where it's within the guidelines If you're so inclined, you could always create your own group but that is out of scope for this course.
