STEP 1. Enter in your topic keyword.

If you're looking for stories to use in your copy to agitate the pain, enter in search terms such as:"weight, shame" or "weight, embarrassed", "weight, humiliated"
If looking for stories to help describe how your offer will impact them, use search terms such as: "weight, excited", "weight loss success",

STEP 2. Voice of Customer Research

Click the button(s) to search that platform. I suggest starting with google forums and discussions.
Explore social media if you need more data.
Capture everything of interest in your AirStory Web Clipper.

Questions you want to answer with this research:
1. How they describe the pain caused by the problem.
2. What's pain or desire is triggering them to take action.
3. What is their aspirational lifestyle in relation the problem your offer is solving for them.
4. What is the lifestyle they aspire to and believe your offer will help them achieve.

STEP 3. Identify what your ideal customer wants and needs in your offer.

Search review sites to identify your ideal customer's must haves, desires, and complaints of offers similar to yours.
Also, note how your competitors are eliminating risk of purchase.
For instance, what is their return policy and can you do more to eliminate risk?

Questions you want to answer with this research:
1. What they expect and appreciate with offers such as yours.
2. Objections and alternatives to your offer.
3. Counters to their objections to your offer (can also answer this with step 2 research).
4. How your competitors eliminate risk of purchase.
5. Frequently asked questions.

STEP 4. Organize Research:

1. Log into AirStory.co and open the project you saved the template to in the preparation phase.
2. Click on the AirStory Icon in the top left corner of the AirStory screen. This will display all of your notes. 3. Filter to the project you saved you selected when saving to the Airstory Web Clipper.
4. Go through your notes one by one and drag them under the appropriate section of the template.
5. Next step is to clean it up to create your first draft of copy. Use the words of your customers, but clean it up a bit. (training video coming soon).

STEP 5. Edit Copy To Inject Personality:

1. Search rhymes, poems and song lyrics for a particular word in your copy for inspiration (not plagiarism) to help inject some personality into your copy.

STEP 6. Test Readability Of Your Copy:

1. Copy your sales copy into your clipboard and paste it into the Hemmingway App to test readability. The lower the grade level the better, but as long as it's a 2 or 3 grade levels below your target audience you're ok.

STEP 7. Check For Plagiarism:

1. Copy your sales copy into your clipboard and paste it into the Grammarly Plagiarism Detector to catch unintentional - of course - plagiarism.
