10 Ride or Die Tools For Selling Online

SEMRush for Offer research

When creating a new offer, I turn to SemRush to identify the topics that are:

  • Profitable
  • Frequently searched for
  • Least competitive

An offer that covers these topics is nearly guaranteed to convert.

Research

Record website visitors with MouseFlow

If you want to pinpoint and address leaks in your funnel, this is a MUST-HAVE tool.  I used to recommend HotJar, but it's become quite buggy and their free plan is far more limited.  If your website gets 500 visitors or less, you can go far with Mouseflow's free account.

Conversion Rate Optimization

Increase course completion rates with Hello Audio

The only courses I complete these days are ones that include a Hello Audio version of the course content.

Your students can consumer your content while walking, driving or doing the laundry.

Way back when, they offered a lifetime deal for unlimited feeds and I passed it up. That may go down as one of my biggest shopping regrets.

Tools for Course Creators

The insight into how students interact with your course content and upsell capabilities are unmatched.

It also offers direct integration with ActiveCampaign and Hello Audio And the customer support team and community is top notch.

Full disclosure: I attempted to switch from MV to Thrivecart Learn because I found MV difficult to navigate. However, I've since returned to MV because I need insight into student behavior to optimize my offers. With custom CSS, I got the look I wanted.

All free for AC users!

Email Marketing Tool

Create your 1st draft with Jasper.AI... or not

Unlike most Jasper customers, I don't use it to write my copy. Or a 1st draft.

I use it to help nail my client's brand voice if they already have an online presence, or by creating copy in the voice of a brand with a similar voice.

I'll also use it to come up with new angles for ad copy.

If you do use it to write your copy, please consider the copy it generates a first draft. It's very good at creating copy similar to what is already out there, but you want your copy to stand out. So, be sure to edit it by adding in specifics and cutting out fluff.

Copywriting Tools

Build funnels with Convertri

With Convertri you can:

  • Reduce ad spend - thanks to faster page speed, fewer people will click on your ad and bounce before seeing the page
  • Dynamically change  the headline to align with the ad copy they clicked on to get to it.
  • Import pages from your old funnel builder with their universal importer. Note: There are size limitations.

  • Free yourself saving and caching issues that frequently occur popular alternatives

Who this is best for:

It's far more flexible and powerful than other funnel builders which means it's most likely to appeal to:

  • Designers that don't want to breakaway from the grid layout
  • Those who like nerding out (so much flexibility with dynamic text and layers)
  • Non-techies who want to stretch their ad spend while hiring funnel builders

Funnel Building

Make it easy for people to give you money with ThriveCart

ThriveCart lets buyers pay how they want to pay with digital wallet, stripe and paypal support.

Clickfunnels, GHL and FGF do not offer 2 step checkouts with digital wallets. ClickFunnels does support digital wallets but not with a 2 step checkout.

Plus, Thrivecart can be used with any funnel builder. All you need to do is point the buttons on your sales page to your ThriveCart checkout page. You could also build your sales pages in ThriveCart if you like. And host your courses.

For a one-time fee!

As someone tasked with turning barely-breaking-even funnels into profitable funnels, here is the tech stack I wish my clients had...

Email marketing made easy with ActiveCampaign

You're a button click away from adding the automation recipe with fill-in-the-blanks copy to:

  • Running a 5 day challenge series
  • Nurturing leads into customers with a nurture sequence
  • Recovering 3-6% of lost sales with a cart abandonment sequence

Convertri + ThriveCart + ActiveCampaign with MouseFlow is a tech stack you can launch and scale with.

Host and sell your courses with ThriveCart Learn

Unlike Membervault, ThriveCart is super simple to navigate for you, your customers and your students.

It lacks insight into student behavior, but if you're not going to use the data, this will be a better fit for you.

ThriveCart Learn is an add-on to ThriveCart (see below).

You can get everything ThriveCart has to offer for a 1 time payment

You're a button click away from adding the automation recipe with fill-in-the-blanks copy to:

  • Running a 5 day challenge series

If you're data-driven, MemberVault may be the perfect platform to host your courses . It's not the easiest platform to navigate, because it's so powerful.

The insight into how students interact with your course content and upsells is unmatched. It also offers direct integration with ActiveCampaign and Hello Audio And the customer support team and community is top notch.
